New brand financing AVIA Financing offers its customers the opportunity to choose from vast range of products offer, starting with financial leasing, via operating leasing and ending with credit financing. On top of that, it includes many advantages, as for example financing with lower interest rate with the support of the European Investment Bank for small and medium size entrepreneurs. Washington DC/Prague – Electric trucks of the American company Smith Electric Vehicles with cabs and chassis of the Czech brand AVIA, representing the breakthrough in the world green transportation, were introduced to America.

UniCredit Leasing newly finances the vehicles of the brand AVIA
The company Avia Ashok Leyland Motors launches, as of September, cooperation with the company UniCredit Leasing. By signature of the Memorandum on brand financing AVIA Financing there are completely new products coming on the market, these are the products UCL LeaseTruck AVIA and UCL FinTruck AVIA.

The cooperation in the area of financing was confirmed on September 4, 2009 by signature of the Memorandum between the companies UniCredit Leasing CZ, a.s. and the producer Avia Ashok Leyland Motors, s.r.o. on the joint brand financing. The objective of the partnership is to offer the end customer attractive financing products under the brand AVIA Financing. It is possible to finance the vehicles using leasing (UCL LeaseTruck AVIA) or credit (UCL FinTruck AVIA).
„AVIA Financing offers the end customer many advantages. It includes mainly the financing with lower interest rate with the support of the European Investment bank for small and medium size entrepreneurs“, comments Mr. Ing. Jaroslav Jaroměřský, Executive Director of the company UniCredit Leasing. Then there is the offer of 5% subsidy of the producer of the vehicles for the price of the chassis, to name another advantage.
„We believe that our cooperation and the brand financing AVIA Financing shall not only contribute to strengthening of the position of the brand AVIA on the Czech market but also to satisfactory bilateral cooperation on highly competitive market of the trucks“, adds Mr. Ing. Tomáš Jiřička, Finance Director of Avia Ashok Leyland. As a prospective cooperation there is also joint business in other countries of Europe.
Avia Financing became already fourth brand product for financing of the trucks and transport technology in the portfolio of the company UniCredit Leasing. Thus the customers can now choose from nine brand products for financing of the vehicles.

With the support of its new strategic partner the brand is being reborn and it gradually comes back to the markets, where it used to have a very strong position in the past. The Indian conglomerate Ashok Leyland currently employs 12 000 people in five production plants.
